Abstract:

Collection includes personal correspondence from Bruce Conner to Rachel Homer. This correspondence is comprised primarily of mail art with some written letters addressed to Rachel Homer. Also included are several photographs of Conner, two catalogs, several Conner multiples including his collaboration with Michael McClure, Lobe Key Stilled Lionman..., two tickets to Michael McClure's play The Beard, and invitations to the reception and preview for Conner's retrospective IT'S ALL TRUE. The collection also includes two collaged matchboxes signed Bruce Conner, from approximately 1964, a Tiddlywinks box filled with strings and tiny objects, and a Cassius Clay (aka Mohammad Ali) 45 vinyl record: The Champ Sings! Stand By Me and I Am The Greatest.
